PREREQUISITES

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalency
  • College or University education an asset
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
  • Successful pass company medical
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Valid Forklift Licence is preferred

General Responsibility

  • Supervising
    • Participate in creating and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
    • Ensure all employees follow processes and procedures
    • Address performance problems through participating in corrective actions, progressive disciplines and dismissals
    • Provide the necessary information, technology, tools and reference material to complete tasks
    • Direct team on 5S requirements over and above the daily stated requirement
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement with all team members
  • Adheres and promotes health and safety regulations pertaining to all aspects of operations
  • Participates in training requirements as it relates to team members
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts
  • Perform audits as required
  • Adherence to 5S audit targets – as measured on performance table
  • Contribute to the workplace environment through employee development, mentoring and motivation
  • Create and maintain a working relationship with CAMI Area Leaders and Planners
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Direct Responsibilities

  • Logistics schedules/ requirements are understood and communicated
    • Inbound loads – Receive and assess paperwork from truck driver, scan product into WMS, compare WMS Activity Report and BOL to verify quantities and product is correct. Communicate with CAMI Planners when issues arise. Enter data into MGO
    • Outbound loads – Utilize CAMI contacts to create an awareness of late sequence trailers (Typically sequence trailers need to arrive with more than 60 minutes on the PBS Clock)
    • Provide assistance to CAMI when required
    • Remove damaged product from inventory, complete necessary paperwork and place in hold cell/area
    • Oversee the unloading/loading of product into warehouse and/or tractor trailer
    • Create an awareness among team members, to safeguard against late deliveries
    • Responsible for all divisional shipping/receiving and subsequent documentation control
    • Schedule door usage
    • Adherence to KPI requirements
  • Keep customer protected and avoid line impacts
  • Have a working knowledge of relative ISO procedures
  • Direct and control all logistics requirements
  • Adherence of health and safety regulations
  • Report to work 15 minutes prior to start of shift
  • Supervise team
  • Report all accidents/incidents and near misses
  • Report all activities against company policies/procedures
